WHO WE ARE
The Arizona Eastern Star Foundation (AESF) is an Arizona nonprofit corporation, recognized as a private foundation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The mission and purpose of the AESF is to provide aid and assistance by supporting other Arizona 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. AESF also supports our members and their descendants through financial assistance in the form of scholarships.
The AESF mission includes support of charitable organizations that relieve human suffering caused by abuse, neglect, illness or poverty throughout the State of Arizona. Charitable organizations include hospitals, scientific and medical research organizations relative to catastrophic diseases including regenerative research, and other charitable, educational, literary and scientific organizations within the full meaning and intent, and qualified, under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. To carry out its objective to support charitable organizations, AESF is actively seeking Grant applications from charitable organizations in Arizona. The Order of the Eastern Star supports many charitable projects through Grand Chapter and local Chapters. We encourage every Arizona Chapter to share AESF grant applications with every 501(c)(3) organization they support. We encourage our members who volunteer with local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations to sponsor an AESF grant application. All members and Chapters of Arizona Eastern Star can bring this Grant application to the attention of a charitable organization that seeks funding from AESF. If the application is accepted, the charitable organization will receive the Grant when it is approved by the AESF. AESF also welcomes donations from Order of the Eastern Star Members, the Masonic Fraternity, and the public to help support these purposes.
